DLSS 4.5 and Unreal 5.7.4, Frame Generation don't work

I compiled the DLSS4 Sample and tested the build, but Frame Generation doesn’t seem to kick in on my 4090 (See the screenshot)

Can you be a bit more specific? the screenshot does not show whether FG works or not.

It is enabled though and if you run PIE or as standalone app you will see the difference when you toggle it on and off.

It is running on a proper build, that’s not the issue.
And yes, you can clearly see that FG isn’t working in the screenshot:

  • FG shows as enabled (×2)

  • but “Frames Presented” stays stuck at 1

  • and FPS doesn’t change at all, no matter which FG mode you select

So even though the UI reports FG as active, the runtime never actually switches to the FG presentation path.

A friend tried the same build on a 5070 and it ran fine. So is this something with the 4xxx cards, or only the 4090 acting weird?
