Does the OSFP AOC cable support separation of the transceiver and optical cable?

InfiniBand split cable OSFP to QSFP56 (MFA7U10-Hxxx) is AOC.
Unlike other AOCs, the connection part between the OSFP Transceiver and QSFP56 Transceiver appears to be separated from the optical cable connector.
The optical cable connector is even marked with the direction “PULL” so that it can be disconnected.
Interestingly, is this product a product in which the transceiver and optical cable are separated? I would like to know.

Hello Jayce,

Thank you for posting your inquiry on the NVIDIA Developer Forum - Infrastructure and Networking - Section.

They can be separated but it is not recommend to pull the fiber out of the transceiver as the cable QA-ed from end-to-end as you can see in the Product Specification → https://docs.nvidia.com/mfa7u10-h00x-400gb-s-osfp-to-2x200gb-s-qsfp56-hdr-active-optical-splitter-cable-product-specifications.pdf

We sell the cable in different lengths.

Thank you and regards,
