Does Thor (JP7.0) + Holoscan 2.5.0-EA support MPF200 v2506 + IMX477?

Hello,

We’re working with NVIDIA Thor (DRIVE OS JP7.0 release) and Holoscan 2.5.0-EA, and have the following questions:

  1. Is the combination of MPF200-ETH-SENSOR-BRIDGE (FPGA v2506) + IMX477 camera officially supported on Thor with Holoscan 2.5.0-EA?

    We encounter a RESPONSE_INVALID_CMD error when running linux_imx477_player.py, while the same setup works fine on Orin (JP 36.4.4) with Holoscan 2.2.1.

  2. If this combination is not supported, which camera models are officially supported on Thor + Holoscan 2.5.0-EA?

    In particular, are there recommended GMSL cameras with verified compatibility?

  3. Is there an official compatibility list or reference design for sensor integration (including Sensor Bridge or native GMSL) on Thor with Holoscan?

Hello,
HSB was never tested for DriveOS platforms, please see user guide for supported platforms.
as for imx477 specifically - our partner Microchip is maintaining the FPGA versions for the MPF HSB and its best to refer to them for support on this.
for Q2 - the v2.5 EA supports the VB1940 and the IMX274 which are the reference cameras for HSB, for v2.5EA IMX274 is currently supported with only unaccelerated mode (“linux_” apps).
Q3 - please refer to the HSB user guide for such information. we update the user guide from release to release for HSB supported devices (specifically in the setup and examples pages which specify supported and verified HW +devices).
