Download Nucleus as free developer

Hello,
since the launcher was shut down on October 1st, I was wondering how we’re supposed to access Nucleus now? The launcher and documentation says, that free developers have access but I can not download Nucleus from the NGC catalogue without a Enterprise Subscription.
Thanks in advance!

@chrisdev122 i am just another user, but depending on your use case and workflow, you may or may not need nucleus altogether. with nucleus workstation being deprecated/removed, if you are looking for team/livesync workflow, for example, you’d need nucleus enterprise stack, which you will need to register with a developer account on NGC (www.ngc.nvidia.com). if that is a feature not required in your workflow, you could try to bring USD data in and out of OV via normal file operation given the DCC you use have USD implementation for import/export functionality.

below are some compilation of responses from the mods/devs that may be worth checking out:

and here is the instruction for setting up the enterprise stack if you do decide it’s something you need:

If you have an NVIDIA developer account, you can use this Nucleus Enterprise link

Hello,

thanks for your reply! I am logged in with my NVIDIA Developer account (same email adress), yet when I try to download anything, the site says a Enterprise Licence is required. How should I move forward? Thanks in advance!

where are you getting the Enterprise License inquiry? i could be wrong, but once you navigate to the Artifacts, you should be able to download both resource stacks by clicking on the Download button with both Browser and CLI options:

if you are attempting to download the PB25h1 stack, you may be prompted to subscribe first to get access:

Thank you very much! I did try to download the wrong resources (i.e the ones where Enterprice was required)

I am glad you found the correct resources.

Hello, may I ask how to use this resource after downloading it

I recommend following the download instructions using Docker and Power Shell

There are instructions on how to install it, on the NGC page and on our own Omniverse Docs page.
