I’d really appreciate it if someone could share a link or some guidelines for downloading and installing the Omniverse Launcher, even though it’s set to be deprecated by October 2025.

Thanks for your response, I already have Omniverse/kit-app-template, my problem is something else. I’ve been trying to get Nucleus Workstation (not the enterprise version), but it seems the only way to do so is through the Omniverse Launcher. I can’t seem to find an installation file for the Nucleus Workstation anywhere. Could you please help? Thanks so much!
Nucleus for workstation is also discontinued. You should not need it. May I ask, what are you trying to install Nucleus station for?
Really appreciate your time and help, Richard. As a first step in testing for a long-term project, I’m trying to set up a live, real-time sync between a CAD model in .STEP format (e.g., in SolidWorks) and its corresponding .USD model in Omniverse Kit. The goal is that any movement of a part or component in the CAD model is reflected in real time in Omniverse Kit.
From my research into NVIDIA resources, I understand that setting up a Nucleus server is required for this workflow. Please correct me if I’m mistaken, and I’d greatly appreciate any comments or guidance you can share.
You are correct. For that though you need Nucleus Enterprise now. You can download that for free at www.ngc.nvidia.com if you register for a developer account.
Since this is just for testing, I only want to set it up for a single user. However, it looks like it requires a Linux operating system and might involve the IT department. I’ve recently gotten a high-end laptop with an Nvidia RTX GPU that can run Omniverse, so I’d rather handle the setup and debugging myself instead of asking IT to install Nucleus just for a test. Any guidance or help would be greatly appreciated.

For individual use, there is no path forward now. Just install the latest kit 108 from GitHub - NVIDIA-Omniverse/kit-app-template: Omniverse Kit App Template
If you want to test Nucleus, you need to test it as a full Enterprise Stack. So that will require you following those steps.
