encode video in Xavier

Hello,

I build Video Codec SDK 9.0 in Xavier and get error like this

LoadNvEncApi : NVENC library file is not found. Please ensure NV driver is installed at …/…/NvCodec/NvEncoder/NvEncoder.cpp:73

And I fail to reinstall NV driver in xavier.

please help how to encode video in Xavier?

Thanks,
Emily

Video Codec SDK is not supported on Tegra based platforms.

Hello,

Is ffmpeg supported on Tegra based platforms?

We need to choose a method, either ffmpeg or gstreamer, to encode video by hardware acceleration in Xavier. But ffmpeg seems not integrate hardware acceleration with ffmpeg in Xavier?

And If we need to check output stream/file is encoded by hw or sw solution, how can I do?

Thanks,
Emily

Hi Emily,
Did you look at ‘L4T multimedia’ sections under https://developer.nvidia.com/embedded/downloads to find if that meets your requirement or not?

Thanks.
