Errors while flashing JetPack 4.2.1 on AGX Xavier

Hello NVIDIA forums,

I’m currently working on deploying Docker containers on an AGX Xavier, so I’m trying to install JetPack 4.2.1 on it. Unfortunately, the SDK Manager gets stuck on step03 trying to “Flash Jetson OS”. Looking at the SDK Terminal, I see many errors popping up early in the installation, despite noticing a new 30GB volume open up on my host machine and seeing Linux getting copied into it.

Hi isyotamc,

We need more logs for investigation. Can you please zip the ~/.nvsdkm directory and upload here?

Another detail: tried falling back to installing 4.2 before that, and despite some of the same errors popping up, the OS Flash succeeded. It’s installing the rest of the frameworks now. I’ll try upgrading from 4.2 to 4.2.1 soon.

After installing 4.2, it seems the 4.2.1 flash succeeded. I’ll update if something goes wrong.
