ESXi 6.7 + Tesla T4 - Passthrough not working

Wondering if anyone has had any success passing a T4 through to centos/ubuntu on 6.7. The T4 is showing up as 32 individual devices in ESXi called "NVIDIA corporation 3D controller. I have tried picking the one with a base address of 0000:XX:00.0 but no matter what I do I always get

“NVRM: The NVIDIA GPU 0000:0b:00.0 (PCI ID: 10de:1eb8)
NVRM: installed in this system is not supported by the
NVRM: NVIDIA 418.67 driver release.
NVRM: Please see ‘Appendix A - Supported NVIDIA GPU Products’
NVRM: in this release’s README, available on the operating system
NVRM: specific graphics driver download page at www.nvidia.com.”

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am also having a problem with this. I’ve attempted to contact support about a VIB file for EXSi 6.7 to support pass through with T4. I was finally told to post something here on the dev forum.

Yes, I too am having a similar issue. Trying to use the T4 in 6.7. GPU is visible and is in the iDrac inventory and in esxi but won’t use pass through.

I think you’re more likely to get help on the grid forums

the issue you are having here is with GPU passthrough and is not cuda specific

The solution for this is to enable SR-IOV SBIOS from within the server BIOS. The device should show as a singular device. I was lucky enough to stumble across this:
