Are you on windows or linux?

linux

I’m not sure whether it is relate to installation of ROS2, since it works all right when I first try isaac sim with ros example.

I had the same issue.
After uninstall ROS2 it disappeared.
When using isaac sim with standalone python script, there seems to be a conflict with the ros2 debian package.

There is a warning regarding this issue on official doc.
link: 5. ROS & ROS 2 Installation β€” Omniverse Robotics documentation

i.e.

  • don’t have to uninstall ros2
  • use seperated two terminals one of which is to run isaac sim (without source /opt/ros/foxy/setup.bash),
the other one is to run ros2. (with source /opt/ros/foxy/setup.bash)
