or, you may revise that functional 1080p gst pipeline for display rendering.

I got this, but there is no active video feed

there’s error about EGL display. please check your display settings.
you may also checking with xrandr,
it should report all monitor supported resolution if you’ve configure display setting correctly,

hello aranis.das,

it looks your display monitor doesn’t support with 1920x1080 resolution.
hence, please add video converter to download the frame to adapt your monitor.
you may refer to below.

So i ran this:
gst-launch-1.0 nvarguscamerasrc ! ‘video/x-raw(memory:NVMM), width=1920, height=1080, format=NV12, framerate=30/1’ ! nvvidconv ! videoconvert ! xvimagesink
and it finally showed something, but the output was absolutely horrible and looked like the camera output is underwater. Unusable for any opencv. I tried upping the resolution but it wouldn’t run, but I did test both the cameras and they both were the same terrible quality.
what is causing this? is there a better way to test my camera?

we’ve confirmed you’re able to get the output the stream via v4l standard IOCTL and gst pipeline.
the failure… nvbuf_utils: Could not get EGL display connection it’s more like a display issue.
