Failure to install CUDA on WSL2 with Quadro 1000M on Windows 10

I’m trying to install cuda drivers for WSL2 following your documentation but keep getting “NVIDIA graphics driver is not compatible with this Windows version and the graphics driver could not find compatible graphics hardware”.

  • Windows version is 20152.1000
  • Card is NVIDIA Quadro 1000M PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0DFA&SUBSYS_14A31028&REV_A1\4&2BFF4559&0&0008

I wonder is this an expected scenario (card is not supported) ?

The NVIDIA Quadro 1000M is an NVIDIA Fermi architecture. it is not supported by the Display driver that you install on the latest version of the Windows 10 OS.

Is the NVIDIA Quadro K3000M in the same situation ?

Same on Quadro K4100M. @ mutatedtheory I’m afraid we will be ignored since Kepler seems to be the next in line after Fermi to stop receiving support, some libraries like Pytorch actually already don’t support it either way :P
