I can’t enable GPU fan settings and do fan control. I’ve tried a lot of solutions but nothing helped.
I added Option "Coolbits" "28" to the xorg.conf (file wasn’t exists, I created it manually with command:
nvidia-xconfig -a --cool-bits=28 --allow-empty-initial-configuration
And added Option "Coolbits" "28" to the xorg.conf.d/10-nvidia.conf.
However there is no “Fan information” in the “Thermal Settings” section (screenshot attached)
I’ve been struggling for a few days.
Please help me how to manage fan speed. Because when I’m using GPU my fans working on 100% speed and make noise.
