Hi. We have recently integrated the DLSS plugin for UE 5.2 to our project, and started getting reports about some random crash occurring only when DLSS frame generation is on. Currently we have the following intel :
- Many users mentioned they experienced the crash while alt+tab-ing or switching between fullscreen and windowed mode (but our QA couldn’t repro the crash in those ways)
- The engine left the following log messages : LogD3D12RHI: Error: Streamline/DLSSG present failed
But we aren’t really sure if the DLSS frame generation is responsible for this. So my questions are :
- Does the DLSS frame generation have a known issue about this kind of crash ?
- Is it possible that the crash was caused by something else but the error report was delayed until DLSS presented the back buffer ?
