Future plan for -40C support?

Is there a plan for a future industrial or automotive temp variant of the Jetson Nano?

If not, would powering the Nano below the rated temperature damage the SOM and/or cause functional failures? (Aka, apply power at -40C and self heat until the minimum operational temperature is reached.)

Powering up in -40C should be avoided as it might harmful to some components on board.
