Grasshopper Mesh Simulation Exporter for topologically non-conforming meshes

Hi there,
Is there a way to export a simulation to Omniverse from Grasshopper where meshes have different vertex count?
I am currently getting this error "Meshes must have matching vertex/face/normal counts.
Seems to be only working with morph targets, deformations type of simulations.

Thanks!

Hello @dumene.comploi1! Welcome to the Community! I have asked a developer for more help in answering your question. I will post back when I have more information!

Hi Wendy,
Thank you very much! Will stay tuned waiting for your response.
Thanks!

Hello @dumene.comploi1

Currently we do not support changing vertex counts when exporting time stamped simulation results, therefore as you mentioned in your post this node will only work with inputs with a matching vertex/face/normal count among meshes. I can see how this could be limiting for some use cases.

I created a feature request with a link to your post and we will include this in the development plan. Thank you for using the connector and we appreciate your feedback!

Thank you very much! This feature would be super useful, so I am looking forward to the day it will be supported.
