GUI freezes indefinitely when adding both cameras in Synthetic Data Recorder

I’m experiencing an issue with Isaac Sim 4.2 where the GUI freezes and gets stuck indefinitely after adding both cameras to the Synthetic Data Recorder and starting the recording. The problem occurs when following the steps in the tutorial at this link.

Environment

  • Isaac Sim Version: 4.2
  • GPU: NVIDIA RTX Quadro 8000
  • Driver Version: 565
  • CUDA Version: 12.7

Topic Description

Steps to Reproduce

  • Follow the steps as detailed in this tutorial: Core API Tutorial: Adding Multiple Robots.
  • Load the extension and go to the Synthetic Data Recorder.
  • Add one of the two cameras: either the camera on the Jetson or the camera for the world.
  • Fill out the rest of the configuration and start the recording. This step works correctly, producing the proper number of frames on the disk.
  • Now, try the steps with both cameras (Jetson and World camera).
  • Start recording.

Error Messages

The recording should proceed as expected with both cameras without freezing. However, the GUI freezes and gets stuck indefinitely after starting the recording with both cameras added. No other error messages were found in the log during this issue.

Please help resolve this issue as soon as possible. The GUI freeze makes it impossible to continue working with both cameras enabled.

Does single camera have any problem? Have you encountered any issues when using multiple cameras on the stage used in Synthetic Data Recorder — Omniverse IsaacSim?

@VickNV There are no issues when using a single camera. The problem occurs when multiple cameras are used together. I experienced a similar issue with the full_warehouse USD as well.
