Guys, we tried absolutely everything to install Ubuntu on the Thor IGX mini I received last Tuesday. We followed the installation instructions in the developers guide to the letter, we verified the USB installation media, the installation image and the target NVMe disk. We are able to create file systems on the disk and we see files, but no matter what we do the Thor does not boot from it. We get stuck post Ramdisk. No error messages. Nothing in debug console.
We even tried a jetpack SDK manager and update over USB, but it does it recognize it as IGX. Only as AGX.
Where are you connecting the USB after etching iso on that? Is it behind a USB hub or connecting directly to the devkit usb port ? - Directly
From one of your images, it looks like it is trying to update the QSPI. Can you list out the steps and exactly where it is going off? - It updated but after the reboot no difference, still same failure to boot from NVME disk.
