Igx_sw_2.0_ea on IGX Thor T7000 installation

Hi,

I have tried to install igx_sw_2.0_ea on IGX Thor T7000 without success. Following the guide inside the SW package, I flashed an USB drive with the ISO. The installation starts but gets stuck with the log below (from IGX UART).

  • Does igx_sw_2.0_ea supports IGX Thor T7000?
  • Any suggestion what could be the problem?

Thanks,
Rogerio

It seems the installation has been completed and you have to connect the display and mouse/keyboard to setup for the username/password/hostname..etc in first boot.

Hi Kevin,

Yes, you’re right. The installation was successfuly completed. I was able to create an user and login using UART terminal. I had thought the installation wasn’t completed because the display is not working (the same happens on JetPack 7.0).

When Using JetPack 7.0, I was able to disable the NVIDIA DRM driver and use the open source driver to make display work. I’m trying now to do the same on IGX-OS 2.0.

If you have some clue how to fix the display driver, please let me know.

Thanks!

Rogerio

As you are using IGX SW 2.0 EA, there may be some issues have not been fixed yet or the system is unstable.
I would suggest waiting for the upcoming IGX SW 2.0 GA to verify for display issue.
If you still have display issue, please help creating another topic to discuss in details.

Just to confirm. The IGX-OS 2.0 production release fixed the display.

Thanks,

Rogerio
