Thor IGX software avaliability

I’m about to receive Thor IGX dev kit and I found on documentation it will come with a pre-built and signed Linux Kernel. Here are a couple of questions:

  • Will NVIDIA also provide the Linux Kernel source code from this supported kernel?

  • Will I be able to use the “flash.sh” to flash Thor IGX as made for Jetson Thor? Or the only way to flash Thor IGX is to use the ISO/Ubuntu Installer?

Thanks.

AFAIK, for IGX Base OS, the kernel is prebuilt and signed in collaboration with Canonical enterprise version and cannot be directly modified.
The flash instruction will be provided when it’s released, should be no much different than current IGX Orin SW.

In this case, is it possible to keep the signed kernel and change the device tree or at least apply some custom device tree overlays?

We plan to add documentation for adding 3rd-party drivers as LKM and BaseOS ISO customization in the IGX developer guide while the IGX SW published.
