this 5.2gb file just won’t download
it always stops downloading after 2gb
what is happening at nvidia server
this is driving me crazy
What 5.2gb file? Do you have a link?
If you mean this image: https://developer.nvidia.com/jetson-nano-sd-card-image
I was just able to download it again from an independent connection, and the checksums matched.
You might want to try clearing your browser cache and trying again, or try using wget instead.
If you still have problems downloading it, let us know which region you are downloading from. Thanks.
I clicked the link and it says it’s available for a limited time for $89, but when I try to order one it’s $99 from all the sources.
Also, it says, “The power of modern AI is now available for makers, learners, and embedded developers everywhere. or a limited time, it’s just 89 USD.”
The “F” is missing in, “For a limited time, …”
Woops, sorry I meant this link for the image: https://developer.nvidia.com/jetson-nano-sd-card-image (corrected above)
BTW if you are looking for the $89 Nano, you can find it here: https://www.arrow.com/en/products/945-13450-0000-000/nvidia
That is for the previous A02-revision devkit (945-13450-0000-000). The latest version is B01 (945-13450-0000-100)
failed to download yet again after erasing all the cache…
i dont know why but the downloading speed seems utterly slow…
stopped downloading after 2.7gb which was 0.7gb better than before (I did try quite a few times)
It wasnt like this before when i succeeded in downloading before
my region : South korea
ok
work-around
aria2c -x 5 https://developer.nvidia.com/jetson-nano-sd-card-image
this will force 5 connections to nvidia server (and i see that is the maximum)
which will bring up the speed
I’ve successfully downloaded it
It sounds like a peering issue or something. I had this problem with YouTube and an older ISP. Nobody wanted to pay for the interconnect, so nobody did. YouTube was unwatchable directly (at any resolution, even potato), but if you used a VPN, all of a sudden it 1080p playback was possible (the highest at the time). The speed test was symmetric gigabit but it didn’t matter since you couldn’t get that to Google’s services. If you continue to run into issues and downloading with multiple threads doesn’t help, you could try the same solution (a reputable VPN).
