HDMI to CSI Interface

Hi,
Are there any suggestions for a HDMI to CSI Interface for the Jetson Nano? I would like to use the nano as a h264 or h265 encoder and use the CSI-Interface as video input. I found out about a working setup with a 4K HDMI to CSI Interface for the TX1. This module uses 3x four-lanes MIPI high-speed camera serial interfaces (CSI-2), so it won’t work with the Nano. Are there any suggestions for a module which works with the Jetson Nano?

Hi eggerj3, Avermedia and Auvidea have done some work in the past on HDMI->CSI converters for Jetson, you may want to contact them to see what they might recommend for Jetson Nano. Thanks.

Hi dusty_nv, thank you for the hints, I’ll have a look at this

Hi, did anyone manage to get one of the Auvidea’s HDMI to CSI interfaces working on Jetson Nano? If yes, could you please explain which model and what drivers worked?

And if someone got that working on the Jetson Xavier, please share your experience.

hi rrahimi
unfortunately not, the driver is not open source.
