Help on installing MLNX_OFED_LINUX for Oracle Linux with UEK kernel System is running 4.1.12-124.25.1.el6uek.x86_64 UEK kernel and the adapter Mellanox Technologies MT27500 Family [ConnectX-3] with FW 2.36.5150

I was using the driver 3.4-1.0.0.0 and running the installation ./mlnxofedinstall --add-kernel-support .the installation completed but once you try to restart the openibd it fails. Could you please advice Is there any specific UEK installation steps that we need to follow .

Hi,

First i suggest to review the supported kernel versions for MLNX_OFED 3.4-1.0.0.0 :

Another option is to force restart the driver using the following command:

#/etc/init.d/openibd force-restart
