Our question is: how can we enable WiFi channel 149, 153, 157, 161, 165 in region China?

Hi hsu.y.y,

This question has been discussed before.
https://devtalk.nvidia.com/default/topic/1017666

I suggest you to use external wifi module which supports following channel.
For tx2 internal wifi, it needs to update fw and also needs wifi certification in China which is beyond our support scope here.

Hi,
Normally, enabled DFS channels can be added in country code setting.
And the country code will be provided by WIFI module vendor.
It’s hard for user to get the country code data from wifi chip vendor directly.

Unless WIFI module vendor provided a non-supported DFS channel WIFI model.
By the way, if NV could provide the wifi FW or Broadcom contact window.
Normally, WIFI module vendor provided wifi fw to customer.
Could you kindly help on this?

Thank you,

HuiW,

After long internal discussion, I’ve confirmed that we cannot change the channel or power table of built-in wifi. If you want to use these channels, please use your own wifi module.

Sorry for inconvenience.

WayneWWW,

Thank you for your support.
