I’m currently working on a project that links Isaac SDK and Unity.
I am proceeding with reference to the following document, but I feel that the information is outdated.
https://docs.nvidia.com/isaac/archive/2020.1/doc/simulation/unity3d.html
So, I wonder if the development of Isaac SDK has ended?
Also, if development is finished, can you tell me about the latest ways to get Isaac Sim and Unity to work together?
It would be very helpful if you could provide us with specific steps for collaboration and URLs that may be helpful.
Hi @ntrkt
Since 2020, Isaac Sim is not based anymore in Unity… but in Omniverse.
For building virtual robotic worlds and experiments I recommend you to fully migrate your project to Omniverse Isaac Sim
However, if you want to connect Unity with Isaac Sim (for OpenUSD data I/O pipelines) you can rely on the Unity Connector
Hello,
What is the best way to import Unity Assets into Omniverse?
Well Omniverse supports a massive amount of file formats. Just pick one that unity supports as well, and export you file from there, and import into Unity. We also have a connector, Unity — Omniverse Connect latest documentation). Once Unity supports native OPENUSD formats, you can just save in Unity and open in Omniverse.
For example we support obj and fbx
