How scalable is Isaac?

Hello,

I’m currently looking for a simulation environment which supports physical simulations and multiple AGVs in conjunction with a reinforcement learning algorithm. When I say multiple, I mean 50 to 200 or even more.
A colleague referred me to Nvidia’s Isaac, which I’ve never heard before and have zero experience with. So I wondered if someone of you can share their experience and could tell me how scalable a simulation environment using Isaac would be.

Also, what hardware would be required to enable such a large scale simulation?

Thanks in advance for your time!

You can simulate up to 16,384 instances simultaneously as I remember. I’ve run examples with 16,384 instances on an RTX 3080. Depending on your parameters, the training time can range from 5 minutes to an hour.
