I think we would need a little more context and information here. Firstly, you are using a very old version of kit if you are still on kit 106. We are about to release kit 110, and kit 109 is the latest. So please update.
Secondly, to add a kit server, you just use the “Add Connection” in your content browser, just as you always could.
