Hi! I have found some previous messages about how to run Audio2Face offline in previous versions, but I can’t make it work in the current version.
The program opens if I try running audio2face.bat in the folder AppData\Local\ov\pkg\audio2face-2023.2.0, but it shows some errors trying to connect to the server. Then if I try to open a scene saved locally (claire_solved_arkit saved as usd locally), it just shows a bunch of errors and doesn’t open properly. Seems like it is still trying to access resources in the cloud.
Maybe I’m not saving the scene in the correct way to avoid accessing online resources?
Could someone please point out what I’m doing wrong?
There is no offline mode. I am not sure where you read that. It has to have a live internet connection at all times.
The ONLY exception would be in a special Enterprise Air-gapped install, but for that you need to be Enterprise and you need to ask us for a special exception. But they need to install the program in a special way and also download ALL of our Amazon S3 content to a local drive.
Why do you need to run it offline ? You are running in an Enterprised Air Gapped environment ?
Hi Richard! Thanks for the quick reply. Here is the previous post where I read is possible to make it work offline:
Also I have noticed that after the scene is loaded, if I remove the internet connection, the animations keep working. Examining the scene it seems like the problem is the live references to the meshes. I tried saving the scene locally but still references elements in the server. Maybe there is more to it, but looks like it is possible.
The reason is that for security concerns we need the full solution to be offline, could you please guide me on how to achieve that? will this require an special license? is there a price attached to it?
