Hi everyone,
I hope this post finds you all in good spirits. I am writing to inquire about the possibility of parts sponsorship or a discount for the NVIDIA Jetson Nano for our dedicated team of undergraduate students from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, working on designing and building autonomous humanoid robots.

Allow me to introduce our team and our achievements thus far. We earlier participated in the FIRA Huro Cup 2019, where we secured the 8th position overall. Our commitment to excellence drove us to participate in the ICRA Humanoid Wrestling Competition 2023, where we proudly achieved a remarkable 4th place out of 60+ teams worldwide.

As we continue to actively work on our project, we recognize the immense potential of incorporating the NVIDIA Jetson Nano into our robot’s architecture. The Jetson Nano’s robust computing capabilities and efficient AI processing make it an ideal choice for our autonomous humanoid robotics platform.

However, being an undergraduate team with limited financial resources, we face challenges in acquiring the necessary components to further enhance our project. Therefore, we humbly request your support in the form of possible parts sponsorship or a discount on the NVIDIA Jetson Nano. Your support would enable us to continue pushing the boundaries of humanoid robotics and contribute to the advancement of technology in this field.
