Hello NVIDIA Community,
I am currently working on a project that involves integrating a Pervasive Display with the NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX (16GB) platform. I am seeking guidance on how to port the provided codebase to the driver package integrated with the Jetson Linux kernel version 5.10.
Here’s a brief overview of what I’m attempting to achieve and the resources I have available:
- Integration of Pervasive Display: I need to connect and utilize a Pervasive Display with the Jetson Orin NX platform. The display model I am using is from Pervasive Displays is E2417KS0D1 which is 4.2” TFT EPD Panel, we are using SPI connection for write the data on display and the code base for it can be found at the following GitHub repository: EPD_Driver_GU_small
- Porting Code to Kernel 5.10: The code base provided by Pervasive Display likely needs to be adapted or ported to work seamlessly with the Linux kernel version 5.10, which is what the Jetson Orin NX platform is currently using.
If anyone in the community has experience or expertise in any of the following areas, I would greatly appreciate your guidance:
- Integrating external displays with the Jetson platform, particularly the Orin NX model.
- Porting code or drivers to work with Kernel 5.10, especially in the context of display integration.
- Any specific nuances or challenges associated with integrating Pervasive Displays with embedded systems like the Jetson Orin NX.
If you have worked with similar projects or have insights into this integration process, your assistance would be invaluable to me and greatly appreciated.
Additionally, if there are existing resources, documentation, or community-contributed projects that could aid me in this process, I would be grateful for any pointers in the right direction.
Thank you in advance for any assistance or insights you can provide. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping me progress with this project.
Best regards,
