iscsi-initiator-utils crashes during boot

I am trying to get iser initiator working on a machine which has a 2 port Mellanox ConnectX-2 card and a 1-port Qlogic Infiniband card. The machine is running Sci Linux 6.2

While using MLNX_OFED_LINUX-1.5.3-4.0.42-rhel6.2-x86_64 package, I get the the iser initiator up and running on the ConnectX-2 card, but for some reason the non-mellanox card does not like the OFED package. Due to this, I had to switch to a generic OFED package - OFED-1.5.3.2. The installation works fine, but on reboot, the system crashes with the stack trace showing something went wrong with iscsi-initiator-utils-6.2.0.872-34.el6 (attached iscsi_boot_crash.png). Note: If I do not select iser during the OFED installation, I can boot the machine just fine.

Any help would be appreciated.

Maybe it is a result of some patches from qlogic to add support for their cards, but the bug affects all iscsi modules.
