J202 NVIDIA Jetson Xavier NX - HDMI - DP - Dual Screen

I am thinking of buying J202 NVIDIA Jetson Xavier NX, but I have a question ? The developer kit has 1 HDMI and 1 DP input for display purposes. I want to connect 2 touch screens and the two screens will have different images. How can I do this?

  1. Connect one of the displays to the HDMI output of the NX, and connect the other display to the DP output of the NX using a “DP to HDMI converter”.

  2. Using two different touch screens: 1st screen with HDMI input, 2nd screen with DP input

  3. Using two displays with HDMI inputs using an HDMI multiplexer. (Can you get two different images?)

I have specified the touch screen I intend to use below.

I’m having a lot of problems because I’m a student. I need your support…

  1. Default software does not support touch.

  2. I am not sure about what do you mean different images. This is just like a desktop ubuntu system with dual displays. What goes to print on the monitors are controlled by you.

  1. Default software does not support touch. Can you explain this statement?

We only support HDMI output and DP output.

If you connect just a arbitrary touch panel on it, the touch function may not work by default.
Those functions may depend on the 3rdparty vendor driver to make it work.

I will make the HDMI output as in the video below. How do I connect a different touch screen to the DP output.

I don’t know what you want to ask. If you only have HDMI monitors, then get a active adapter to convert it to DP.

Or find a Jetson carrier board from other vendors who enable 2 HDMI ports on their board.
