Hi, everybody,
I want to install cudnn on my jetson tx2, that runs jetpack 3.3.4.
Basically my system runs cuda-9.0, and i need the appropiate cudnn version, i didn’t find a direct download link online ( cuDNN Archive | NVIDIA Developer there is no aarch64 architecture there) , so my approach is to install the old sdk manager again from here: JetPack 3.3.4 Release Notes | NVIDIA Developer and then download all the packages. I would then have the debian package of the correct cudnn version in the download folder.
But somehow i can’t login to the old sdkmanager:
Any idea? An idea why the login is not working or an idea if there is somewhere a direct link where i can download the appropiate cudnn version ?
And no, reflashing the device is no option. Otherwise i would have done it long ago.
Best regards and thank for any help
Marco
Hi,
Please try reinstall the sdk manager.
Also try to install latest version like JP 4.6.6.
And we support download Jetpack component from apt server.
For example
sudo apt update
sudo apt install nvidia-jetpack
Thanks
Hi,
ty for your reply. Sadly reinstalling does not help.
Using jp 4.6.6 doesn‘t seem like a solution because then i will get a cudnn version that is too new for my jetpack 3.3.4 system.
Other ideas?
Hi,
What is your host ubuntu version?
Thanks
Hi,
Do you have another host running Ubuntu 16.04 or 18.04 to verify if the issue also occurs there?
Thanks
Hello,
Tested it today on a fresh installation of Ubuntu 16.04, i get the same error:
TypeError: Cannot read property ‘includes’ of undefined.
Can’t you give me the direct download links for the nvidia packages in jetpack 3.3 ?
Hi,
Sorry, since JP 3.3.4 has reached end of life, the only supported way to download cuDNN is via the SDK Manager.
Some questions to confirm:
- Is your Ubuntu a native or a virtual machine?
We still suggest to flash your TX2 to latest JP4.66/BSP 32.7.6 version.
Thanks
Hello again,
Sure, i understand that the only supported way is to download via the SDK Manager.
It would be nice if you could help me getting the sdkmanager 3.3 to run.
I tested it on a fresh native 16.04 ubuntu installation, native 18.04 ubuntu installation and on ubuntu 18.04 in wsl. Every time i got the same error as you can see on the first post in the image.
As i said, i cannot flash the device, sadly.
Can you verifiy that it is still working (sdk manager 3.3.) ? Is the error is on my system or was there a change on “your server side” that makes the login process on the old sdk manager not possible anymore?
There is no update from you for a period, assuming this is not an issue anymore.
Hence, we are closing this topic. If need further support, please open a new one.

Hi,
Please package the ~/.nvsdkm and upload for us to review.
Thanks
