Hi there:
We realized that a new version of Jetpack just came out last week, which is awesome. There are some new features / improvements that looks really awesome and we would like to try them in our software stack, including:
- reduced argus cpu usage up to 40%
- a new version of VPI that includes AprilTag Detector algorithm
We used Leopard Imaging’s hawk camera + P3762_A03 board and the driver of this board is installed through installing nova-orin-init
Debian package in Jetpack 6.0.
Unfortunately, this debian seems doesn’t exist yet for Jetpack 6.1, as shown in the figure below.
We really need it to try Jetapck 6.1 with Hawk cameras to run perception algorithms and would like to know when will the hawk camera board driver be available for Jetpack 6.1? Thanks!
Hi @robust_mabuchi
Thank you for your kind message. We are currently working on adding new features and improving the performance of Isaac ROS and Orin Nova. Unfortunately, Isaac ROS 3 is only compatible with Jetpack 6.0 at this time.
Please review the requirements on this page: Getting Started — isaac_ros_docs documentation.
Best,
Raffaello
Hi @Raffaello
Thanks for the quick response, I appreciate it! And I totally understand that it takes time for Isaac ROS 3 to fully support Jetpack 6.1.
In this case, I’m wondering if Nvidia has the driver for P3762_A03 board somewhere already? And if so, is there a way to install it so that we can still bring up hawk cameras on Jetpack 6.1? Thanks!
The engineers are still working on a new release of Isaac ROS with new features and support for the latest jetpack, but at this time, I don’t know when it will be released.
I will keep you posted when it is announced.
