Jetson Nano Orin doesn't work on Jetson Nano carrier board

I previously designed a carrier board for the Jetson Nano module. Recently, I wanted to use a Jetson Orin Nano module on this same board; however, none of the USB connections are being detected. Although the pinouts appear to be the same, I cannot see any connected ports when I check with dmesg. What could be causing this compatibility issue?

They are just Form-factor compatible, not PIN compatible.
So you can’t use it directly.

I followed the USB wiring as per my original Jetson Nano design, which matches the Orin Nano carrier board reference schematics. While this setup worked out-of-the-box on the Jetson Nano without any additional configuration, the USB ports are not functioning on the Orin Nano. Do I need to perform any specific Device Tree modifications or ODM Data configurations to enable these ports on the Orin Nano?

There is no update from you for a period, assuming this is not an issue anymore.
Hence, we are closing this topic. If need further support, please open a new one.

Exactly which ports are not working?

Can you see the Orin Nano in recovery mode from your host PC?
