Jetson Orin Nano BootUp Failure

Hi All,
I flashed jetpack6.0 on Jetson Orin Nano developer kit using sdk manager and flashing linux image is succesfull. But nothing is getting displayed on monitor. Please let me know an input to overcome this issue.

Followings are the environment details:
Host Machine: Ubuntu 22.04
SDK Manager Version: 2.0.0.11405

Thank you!

Is this your first time flashing Orin Nano devkit or it has been flashed with jeptack5 before?

Jeptack6.0 is a developer preview yet. I just want to know whether you are talking about a new issue (e.g. monitor was working fine on jp5 but not working on jp6). Or it is your first time using a Orin nano.

This is the first time flashing on Jetson Orin Nano.

Initially CLI was getting displayed when monitor connected to the orin nano. After flashing Jetpack6.0 with option nvme, nothing is getting displayed and also noticed that LED is red in color.

  1. The most precise way to check your issue is to dump the log.
    https://www.jetsonhacks.com/2019/04/19/jetson-nano-serial-console/
This requires a usb-ttl cable so you may need to buy one.

  2. Is the monitor a pure DP monitor or you are using some adapters?

  1. Used usb-ttl cable, still no output in minicom.

  2. Yes, it is Display unit. I am using adopter from normal HDMI to mini HDMI.

There is no update from you for a period, assuming this is not an issue any more.
Hence we are closing this topic. If need further support, please open a new one.
Thanks

  1. No matter what situation. UART serial console will dump log.
You need to open the console before power on so that you can see boot log.

  2. Are you talking about the display connector on your board is a HDMI one but not displayport?
