Hi,
Have you tried using the flashing script directly by running it manually yourself:
sudo ./flash.sh jetson-xavier-nx-devkit mmcblk0p1
Also I am able to recall that issues tend to appear when attempting to flash a Jetson board while working with a virtual machine. It may be worth to browse this forum for related threads to those issues. For example:
Hello,
Not sure if this is the place for this post, but I have seen a lot of posts that try to Flash jetson boards using VMs and sdkmanager but couldn’t find any complete guide. I did this for the 2GB Nano when the etcher method failed for me and I did not have access to a serial device. And after a lot of trial and failure, the process is quite straightforward.

I want to flash my xavier agx via a qemu/kvm virtual machine. I can redirect the Xavier in recovery/flash mode to start the process. As the USB resets the host VM does not automatically connect the USB. If I catch the script while it is complaining about not connecting to the USB and re-direct it to the VM and the script will continue to run.
I keep on missing it and the script times out at some point in the process. Can someone point me to the place where the USB is connected in the script…
