Can I use a latest rootfs for jp4.2.2 beside the l4t28.1 kernel?
Please introduce the simplest possible solution!!

I suspect you would have a lot of work ahead of you to use an older kernel on a newer release. The route of least pain is probably to port your driver to the newer kernel.
