L4T R28.2 wifi moduler same mac addr on TX1

Hi
1)There are two TX1 take same mac addr as 00:90:4c:16:70:01.
2)AS I konw, wifi/ble MAC should read from eeprom; how to config dts? which one to config.
ALL of my system is base on tegra210-jetson-tx1-p2597-2180-a01-devkit.dts
3) wifi-config-check.sh seemed not work which from https://devtalk.nvidia.com/default/topic/925629/?comment=4840077

That mac is a fallback hardcoded value. Such case happens when there is problem in your eeprom.

As for TX1, the i2c bus is not 7 but 2.

Have you ever overwritten the content in EEPROM? Bootloader would verify the checksum of eeprom and if it goes wrong, it would not create a node in dtb.

Below is my device tree node. Do you have nvidia,wifi-mac under this path?

In your log, I see “Retrieving file: /boot/dtb/tegra210-jetson-tx1-p2597-2180-a01-devkit.dtb” appears. Have you modified your extlinux.conf?

The FDT entry is probably the cause of failure. There is some use of device tree from partitions at various stages of boot in R28+, and those stages may merge parts of the device tree for hand-off to the next stage. The FDT entry will not apply at the correct time and is (at least for now) deprecated. You should remove this line and instead flash the dtb.

Typically you’d use a command like this to flash the dtb to a partition (along with it being signed):

sudo ./flash.sh -r -k kernel-dtb jetson-tx2 mmcblk0p1

Normally file “kernel/dtb/tegra186-quill-p3310-1000-c03-00-base.dtb” would be used, and if you wanted to specify a specific file instead of replacing one in the “Linux_for_Tegra/” tree you could use this (I’m using a specific file name which happens to be exactly what the default flash would have used, but you can substitute file name):

sudo ./flash.sh -r -d ./kernel/dtb/tegra186-quill-p3310-1000-c03-00-base.dtb jetson-tx2 mmcblk0p1
