What options do I have for cameras if I want

  • long connecting cable (not possible in CSI2) and
  • a larger Field-of-Vision (FoV) which is not found in GigE cameras usually

How long are you looking for? What’s your use case?

0.5 - 1m would be sufficient. Actually we are working on an autonomous robot that has its camera mounted on a tower mounted on the centre of the chassis. A wide angle vision (large FoV) is the most important thing for us now. We are currently working with USB3.1 Intel RealSense D435 cameras but their FoV is dissatisfactory for us and the USB also needs to be replaced with a more robust interface.
