I am looking to gain a better understanding of the announcement regarding the depreciation of the Omniverse Launcher.

I am coming back to the Omniverse Platform after working on other projects. It took a while for me to get my head around the whole Omniverse ecosystem the first time, and now it seems it is morphing and ditching the launcher. Is it been replaced by another interface? The thought the launcher was the like the marketplace so allow to manage and find foundation apps and 3rd party apps.

I anybody can point me in the right direction to begin my re-learning of the Omniverse Platform that would be most helpful.

Hi and thanks for your question. Yes, the Launcher is being depreciated. However not until October, and even then it will continue to work just fine. But it will not be updated any more. The new way is to simply download what you need, directly from our NGC website or our GITHUB page. Links below.
