License Problem

I recently got the free license for Visual Fortran as a student (not a demo, but a free license until August). Everything worked fine and I was very happy with it for a few weeks, but starting Monday, I began receiving the following error (also attached as an image)

LICENSE MANAGER PROBLEM: The desired vendor daemon is down. Check the Imgrd log file, or try Imreread.

For further information, refer to the FLEXnet Licensing documentation, available at "> www.flexerasoftware.com> ".

Anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it?[/quote]

Hi cesuer,

Open “Start->Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Services” and look for the “PGI License Server”. Is it down? Try restarting it. Any errors?

It seems like both the PGI and the FLEXnet Services were down, upon starting them the problem seems to have gone away. Thank you for your help!
