Loss of Pattern Data when Importing CAD Models into USD Composer


Recently, I have been using CAD to create 3D models and have been importing them into USD Composer for my work.

What I am curious about is that the patterns I made in CAD disappear when imported into the USD importer.

  1. Does NVIDIA officially not support the conversion of pattern data?
  2. Am I not following the standard method for conversion, resulting in the pattern not being imported?

If it’s the second case, I would appreciate it if you could provide a reference document or URL.

@inyong2327 apologies ahead of time for not answering your questions, but the pattern is of splines, is that correct? because i am not positive 2D shapes/splines could be read in.
