Mst hub for agx orin

We are currently using agx orin module 64gb , but the module gives out only one dp port , we would like to know if there is any MST hub supported by nvidia that we can use to convert the dp out into 2 hdmi outputs?

There is no MST hub verified by NVIDIA in the Jetson AGX Orin Series Supported Component List but the user in this comment successfully used a solution from Synpatics: Support on mst board - #6 by jameskuo

Beware the information in that post and the linked one about disabling DSC in the driver.

NVIDIA’s testing used MST daisy-chained through monitors.

Thank you for the reply , the reason of posting is it because i found a thread which i have attached below :

Synaptics vmm5320 with 2 LG 24MP450 monitor

Our customizer Orin carrier board uses the Synaptics vmm5320 to support MST. Synaptics vmm5320 provides 3 display ports( 2 HDMI ports and 1 DP port). When we connect two LG 24MP450 monitors(1080p60) to the 2 HDMI ports on our carrier board, both of them can display the Nvidia Logo, but sometimes one of the monitor does not display before(or after) Login GUI. From the Synaptics’s debug tool, the video state of not displayed is 2 (unstable), and the other displayed one is 6 (stable). The L4T …

In this it says the MST hub is not validated by nvidia, so we would like to know if there are any MST hub validated by Nvidia that we could use so that we dont face the similar problems.

The problem here is we don’t know how to process any “check” that you want here.

Basically you just came out and throw out a hub that we didn’t ever validate before. We only validated MST with 2 DP out. Any 3 monitor cases or DP to HDMI case on MST is not validated.

You are asking something that we don’t support since the beginning.

And we don’t have such tool to check anything on our side.

Your case is addressed in this sentence from the post you quoted.

This does not mean that DP to 2 HDMI will not work, just that NVIDIA has not directly validated it.

Sorry for the late response. We are using Synaptics vmm5320.
We are trying to use DP → DP + HDMI or DP → HDMI + HDMI. DP → 2 HDMI works fine.
