Newbie Getting started Problems Quadro FX 1700 is not recognized

Hello Forum,

just started with CUDA Programming and ran into Problems. I started with an unused Windows 7 (64) Machine to get some quick results and get used to it (I will then instantly switch to linux, but need to find a suitable server where it fits…) I put the quadro fx 1700 card into the windows machine, installed the driver (296.35-quadro-tesla-win7-winvista-64bit-international-whql), installed the cudatoolkit_4.1.28_win_64 and gpucomputingsdk_4.2.9_win_64. Visual Studio 10 is already installed, as I use it as a kinect playground too. I followed the Getting-Started PDF and tried to verify the installation executing the bandwithTest example Program. This returns telling me, that there is no CUDA enabled hardware: (cudaGetDeviceProperties: no CUDA-capable Device is detected). I was assuming that both card and driver are suitable!?

best regards,

Alex
