Newer GStreamer version

Hello,

I would like to ask if there is a plan to ship newer gstreamer version in future releases of l4t.

I want to use alternate interlace mode which is available from version 1.16.

Hi,
We will upgrade the gstreamer version in Jetpack 5. Please check the roadmap:
Jetson Software Roadmap for 2H-2021 and 2022
The version will be 1.16.3.

For Jetpack 4, it stays in 1.14.5. You may try to manually upgrade the gstreamer version. There is guidance in gstreamer user guide
Would need to rebuild/replace the plugins, which are open source in
https://developer.nvidia.com/embedded/linux-tegra
