Title; AI Workbench freezes on “Installing and updating packages”. Reinstalling the app, drivers and pytorch does nothing.

OS: Win 11 Version 10.0.26100 Build 26100
GPU: RTX 5090
CPU: Ryzen 7 9800x3d

Same issue here . Win11 , already NVIDIA workbench installed as second WSL , but infinite dependencies installation . Tried both NIM setup and AI Workbench setup .

Which did you try an install first, the NIM Installer or AI Workbench?

Try below steps:

Generate a support bundle using the desktop app or CLI (if possible). locate and send the main.log
you can find this under this location.

C:\Users\AppData\Roaming\nvidia-ai-workbench\logs\main.log

Hi, could you please share a screenshot of running the following command in a powershell terminal?

(Get-CimInstance Win32_OperatingSystem) | Select-Object Caption, Version, BuildNumber | Format-List

Could you please also share what your Windows system locale/language is?

This will allow us to see if the the installer may be failing to recognize and proceed with your Windows version string.

System language is Russian , since I am from Ukraine non-occupied part . I can change to whatever is needed .

Hi no problem, this is a known defect that will be fixed in our next release, the current workaround should be installing the English language pack and changing your locale to English. I believe you should be able to switch your language pack and locale back after installation has succeeded but this is unconfirmed.
