NVIDIA Authentication not working

I have been trying to log in to my Nvidia account, but authentication does not work. It fails with “504 Gateway Time-out” error.

Is someone else having the same issue??

@camilo.hernandez1 just wanted to clarify, are you referring to the OV Launcher log in? If so, I haven’t had any issues authenticating recently. feel free to upload your launcher .log for further assessment. you can find the log at either location below:

  • Windows - %userprofile%\.nvidia-omniverse\logs\launcher.log
  • Linux - ~/.nvidia-omniverse/logs/launcher.log

and have you also tried switching your default browser and see if that helps?

We can try to help, but that means you are having issues with your internet connection to the server. It could be a temporary issue, or a firewall issue. If you attached Launcher logs and a video that would be good.

Camilo, I had the same problem with authentication. I don’t know what Nvidia did, but now it hasn’t worked in my region. I used a VPN set to the USA, and it helped me. Can you try that too?

Thank you all for your replies, and sorry for my delay.

It seems it was an issue with the region as @iskanderka125 maentioned. After using a VPN it allowed me to login.

@Simplychenable Just to clarify, I do not reefer to " the OV Launcher" i was refering just to login into the Nvidia Developer account to be able to download the Omnivers launcher.

Maybe there was a server issue…

However, after rebooting the computer, I have to log in again. And again with the VPN. It’s awful - cringe. (UPD: No, I don’t have to log in again; it was a visual bug.)

I have this issue with logging into GeForce Experience.

@camilo.hernandez1 Glad I could help.

@Richard3D Could you please pass this on to someone in the GeForce Experience department?

Hello @camilo.hernandez1 and @iskanderka125. Can I ask where you are based ? What region of the world ? Ideally you should not have to use a vpn to access our services.

Hey Richard, reporting from Netherlands here. I am also having the same issue with Nvidia, cant login in any capacity, via GeForce Experience or the website. Using a VPN to add to this issue.

It returns “504 bad gateway” after about 10 seconds of loading.

Can you give me the exact website you are failing to access from the Netherlands ?

For sure, I am based in Switzerland (CH).

I happens to me when I try to Loggin to my accound from this site (Isaac Sim | NVIDIA NGC). This happens when trying to get the Isaac Sim Container.

Right now the reaction is that it does not allow the loggin and it sends me to the Nvidia homepage (Weltweit führendes Unternehmen im KI-Computing).

And it happens both from Chrome and Microsoft Edge.

@Richard3D Same problem here! (Germany)

I´ve tried Safari, Chrome, Edge and Firefox. Login to DLI learn.nvidia.com/join fails with Code 504. Login to developer.nvidia.com is successful

Hi everyone,

We are currently experiencing login issues for NVIDIA users in the EU region. We are actively working to resolve the problem.

Sorry for the inconvenience.
