Nvidia Grid K1 discontinued?

Hi

When trying to buy a IBM/Lenovo x3650 M4 with a K1 board, i was told that it isn’t available any more.

Is the K1 board being discontinued or is only for IBM/Lenovo servers?

No announcements have been made t o discontinue the K1, and it is still available.

It looks as though the IBM RedBook for this server has been updated and no longer includes the K1, so it looks as though it’s that server which IBM have chosen to no longer provide with a K1 option.

However, the M5 does list the K1, so it’s available

Is this still the case now that the M6 and M60 have been announced? What about the K2? Also, I read the release date should be on September 15, 2015, at which point I would assume prices will be announced for the M6 and M60?

K1 & K2 will continue in parallel for the foreseeable future. We do have a lengthy EOL program and we’ve yet to announce anything regarding hte Kepler GRID cards.

OEM’s should have pricing available for the cards and first ship should be 15th Sept, though that depends on each OEM.
