Nvidia jetson nano dev kit 2GB not stuck on nvidia screen

I am trying to reflash my jetson nano developer kit. i used balena etcher on my mac to flash the disk image from (Get Started With Jetson Nano Developer Kit | NVIDIA Developer) to my sd card. When i insert the sd card into the jetson and turn it on, it stays on the nvidia screen (linked below) indefinitely and doesn’t boot. is there any way to fix this?

Find a ubuntu 18.04 x86 pc and install sdkmanager on it. Use sdkmanager to reflash your jetson nano.

Can I use a virtual machine?

sorry, no. VM is not stable enough to flash Jetson.
