Nvidia jetson nano red power light

Hello, I bought separately an nvidia JETSON-IO-BASE-A from aliexpress thinking it’s the full development kit but turns out the nano module itself was missing, so I purchased the 4gb nano module as well. After assembling them and powering the unit, the power led is solid red and the display powers on but remains dark. I know it should be solid red and it should boot into the nvidia custom ubuntu. I tried to use a 20W power adapter and it still didn’t work. Is it a compatibility issue or a hardware issue? Is there anything else I can try?
